Jason Moran JASON MORAN COLOR   Jason Moran's career as a colorist has been prolific in producing innovative work and building large, loyal clienteles in both San Francisco and Los Angeles.  He has made education and training aspiring colorists a top priority throughout his career, which began at Vidal Sassoon in 1987.  In 1989, at just twenty tears old, Jason was named "Assistant of the Year" by Vidal Sassoon and subsequently sent to London to complete color training.  Later that year, after becoming qualified at their Beverly Hills salon, he was placed in charge of training color apprentices, seminars, photo shoots and photo-editorials.  In 1993, his last year at Vidal Sassoon, Jason was named "Colorists of the Year". In 1993, Jason moved to San Francisco where he created a color training program at the diPietro Todd Salon.  In 1995, he moved his clientele to Architects and Heroes, where he continued to head education.  He was named one of San Francisco’s "Top Colorists" by the San Francisco Chronicle, while San Francisco Magazine declared..."Jason has a wicked way with blondes".  In 1998, Jason began work at Elevation Salon as an independent contractor, yet despite his independence from the salon was asked to head education and train their staff.  He rejoined the talented color department at diPietro Todd Salon in 2002, where he is currently Head of Department and retains and vast, loyal clientele.  Over the course of the last two years Jason has done work for films such as "Memoirs of a Geisha", the lead cast of the film "Rent", starring Rosario Dawson and "Bee Season", starring Juliette Binoche.  In addition to his work in San Francisco, Jason will begin taking clients at Jim Wayne Salon in Beverly Hills, starting April 2006.
