Homer, a Chicago native, spent six years at both the Vidal Sassoon academy and hair salon in Chicago and Los Angeles where he remained until he left and joined the Jim Wayne salon in 1997. Homer believes the key to his clients happiness lies within his intimite ability to tap into an encourage the expression of each clients individuality. "I'm not afraid to be an individual and I?m not shy about helping my clients express their uniqueness. I have a very diverse clientele and get along with everybody. While homer considers hair cutting his career, he gains visual and artistic inspiration from painting and as a dancer at some of Los Angeles hottest alternative clubs. "it's a way to stay in tune with what's going on in the scene. It's a great outlet. In that way, my day and nightlife feed off each other creatively," explains homer. Homer has been involved in several commercials for Vidal Sassoon, including one in Beijing and in Thailand.
