Anne Anne began her career in the hair business in London with Vidal Sassoon. She taught in their training school on Bond Street and also worked in Sassoon salons in London’s West End. In the late 70’s she was asked to go to Japan and work with a small team of stylists from Sassoon’s. They toured all over the country demonstrating hair cutting and teaching classes in order to promote the Vidal Sassoon name and product line. Anne then moved to San Francisco to teach at the Sassoon school. This is where she first met Jim Wayne, who was one of her students! After a year, the school moved to Los Angeles, where she moved as well. Anne was offered the position of Art Director at the Beverly Hills Salon, which of course she took. After some years, she had started a family but continued working for Vidal Sassoon. Eventually she decided to go work with Jim at his new salon and she has been there ever since…
